MEET NATHAN

Nathan Willett is a high school math teacher, a Northland Councilman, and seventh-generation North Missourian. But above all else, he is a Christian who believes public service is a responsibility—not a title.

Nathan was born and raised in Clay County, but his family has made their living as farmers and blacksmiths in Atchison County for generations. He comes from people who kept their faith first, worked hard, honored their word, and looked out for their neighbors. Those values shaped Nathan long before he ever thought about running for office.

After graduating from Mizzou with a degree in economics and earning his masters in math from UMSL, Nathan worked with the Show-Me Institute where he saw how government decisions can affect working families, small businesses, and local communities. Eventually, Nathan found his calling teaching high school math. Here, Nathan saw the hopes and struggles of families up close. He saw students working hard to build a better future. He saw parents doing everything they could to give their children a good education. Above all, he saw how often the government left the people closest to the problem out of the decisions that affected their lives.

That led Nathan to step forward and run for local office and when the People elected him he made one simple promise: he would not forget the people who sent him there.

Since then, Nathan has honored that promise. During his short time in office, he’s secured pay raises for law enforcement, helped slashed the police officer shortage, brokered the Northland Workforce Development Center, provided the community with a pro-life alternative to abortion, stood up for the second amendment, opposed sanctuary city policies, and voted against harmful budgets when they put politics ahead of the people. He has earned a reputation for being willing to stand alone when standing alone is the right thing to do. Through it all, Nathan has served his community the same way he was raised: with faith, conviction, humility, and common sense. He knows that communities are built by families, churches, farmers, small businesses, teachers, first responders, and neighbors who show up for each other.

Nathan believes North Missouri deserves a Congressman who listens first, tells the truth, keeps his word, and fights for the people who keep this country a’float. He wants to take the same faith-driven conservative values that have guided him as a teacher and a councilman to Washington to ensure that North Missourians are heard and respected. For Nathan, public service has never been about name recognition or fame. Instead, it has always been about responsibility, faith, and standing up for what is right. He would be honored to earn your vote on August 4th.
